On April 28 and 29, Daily FT, the leading English professional newspaper in Sri Lanka published the signed article by Ambassador Qi Zhenhong entitled "How China Eradicated Extreme Poverty" in two consecutive editions. Ambassador Qi introduced the white paper "Poverty Alleviation: China's Experience and Contribution" issued recently by China's State Council Information Office, and especially highlighted the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s strong leadership in securing a victory in the nation's fight against poverty and accomplishing the arduous task of eradicating extreme poverty. Qi also shared his opinions on the better alignment of the "Gama Samaga Pilisandara" (Dialogue with the Village) together with China's "Targeted Poverty Alleviation" and "Rural Vitalization" strategy.
